A local business says the media is ruining his business. The owner of the Brew and Cue Tavern tells his story and introduces us to a truly cool little tavern in Eugene. This show really helped the owner of the Brew & Cue. Here's a letter he sent me:
It is so cool when your job actually helps people. This is a letter we got from a client who's business fell off after local media shot pictures of his business for a murder case. We went out and did a show from the Brew & Cue and here's what he said:
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your help with this. After your airing of the first version, we have since been able to get other stations to air positive pieces shot with me at the bar. I don't think they would have done that without some pressure that we put on with your piece. I have seen an increase in the amount of "new" customers coming in to check out the bar in the last couple weeks that I can attribute to your piece and also some of the "better" publicity aired by the mainstream media.
Chris told me that yesterday one of your friends (sorry did not get the name) came in specifically to try the PAC12 burger. They said they loved it.
People are coming back in that have not been into the bar in years and all are saying the same thing about how clean and refreshing the bar looks now.
