This video demonstrates Emerald AI 2.0's new built-in ranged combat system. The ranged combat system supports multiple kinds of projectiles, such as arrows and magic effects, and uses Emerald's built-in object pooling system. Best of all, the ranged combat system does not require any coding. Everything can be setup through the Emerald Editor.
AI will intelligently avoid their attacker and attempt to move out of the way if they get too close. This allows battles to be dynamic making every battle unique. All the movement you see from the AI is dynamic and different every time.
Ranged AI will only shoot their projectile if they have a clear shot of their target. If their target becomes obstructed, they will move to another position until they are within their view.
Emerald 2.0 is complete rewrite and will feature tons of improvements and new features. Emerald 2.0 is currently in development. What you see does not represent the final product.
